Mandatory Majorette Meeting ,March 15, 2007 at 5:30
in the Band room at the highschool
for any student interested in trying out for Majorettes
for the 2007 football season.
Majorette tryouts will be held on the following dates:
April 30, 2007 5:00 - 7:00 (Open Gym - Mandatory) Pfeiffer School Gym
May 1, 2007 5:00 to 7:00 (Open Gym - Mandatory) Pfeiffer School Gym
May 2, 2007 5:00 until finished (Majorette and Feature Twirler Tryouts - Mandatory) Pfeiffer School Gym

Majorette Requirements
Vertical two spin
Flat one spin
High Toss Bow
Flat Outside Illusion
Vertical Regular Illusion
Fishtails (continuous for five counts of eight)
Triple Elbow roll
High Toss Acrobatic Trick (Walkover,Cartwheel,sommersalt)
Feature Twirler Requirements
Three baton must be used in the Feature Twirler
Routine during tryouts.
Vertical 5 spin
Continuous elbow rolls minimum of 8
High toss Walkover or High toss cartwheel one spin
High Toss Double Illusion
Reverse Neck rolls for 4 counts of eight
One spin reverse illusion (Flat toss)
Individual Routines:
The length of time for individual routines has changed
from 3 1/2 minutes
to 2 1/2 minutes long.
Group Routine:
All or some of the required tricks will be in the group routine
that is
taught one week prior to tryouts.
